Overview In this role you drive the EHDS data cataloging program within Clinical Data Transparency, shaping a complete, standardized view of in-scope data. You lead cross-functional teams to identify datasets, apply metadata standards, and maintain a current catalogue aligned with EHDS requirements. You collaborate with Legal, Privacy, Regulatory, and Tech to embed sustainable data governance across geographies. Leistungen / Benefits competitive salary extensive benefits package flexible working environment career development opportunities well-being programs leave policies (vacation, parental, bereavement) Verantwortungsbereiche Lead the EHDS Data Inventory and Cataloging workstream and coordinate data owners to identify in-scope datasets and holdings Establish and maintain a complete inventory with ownership, category, characteristics, source, status, and dependencies Apply EHDS data category mapping and metadata standards to ensure interoperability and discoverability Develop and maintain minimum metadata requirements, classification guidance, and data-owner instructions Coordinate data owners to validate dataset information and address gaps through governance channels Assess data holder ownership with Legal and other SMEs to determine EHDS responsibilities Drive completeness and quality reviews; coordinate remediation for gaps in coverage Register and maintain dataset descriptions in catalogues, implement updates, and verify metadata accuracy Define data quality and utility labeling approaches in collaboration with SMEs and owners Partner with Data Sharing to ensure alignment with data preparation, minimization, anonymization, and reviews Work with Technology to implement fit-for-purpose cataloging solutions; embed EHDS requirements into new/future data holdings Plan, pilot, and refine cataloging processes; establish SOPs, training, controls, and KPIs Monitor EHDS acts and specifications; update processes accordingly Identify needs for external services or vendors and oversee onboarding and oversight Provide coaching and SME support to data owners; matrix leadership may be exercised as needed Integrate Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and ways of working Zentrale Anforderungen Advanced degree in a scientific, technology, data, or healthcare discipline, or equivalent experience At least 8 years of relevant pharmaceutical, healthcare, scientific, or data experience (data management, data governance, biostatistics, etc.) Expertise in data cataloging, metadata management, data classification, and governance Knowledge of clinical/health data standards (CDISC SDTM/ADaM); familiarity with OMOP, HL7 FHIR, HealthDCAT-AP, DCAT-AP is a plus Understanding of EHDS data holder obligations and regulatory/technical requirements Proven cross-functional project leadership in a matrix environment Experience building sustainable data/metadata processes, governance, and training programs Strong communication and stakeholder management across internal/external networks Leadership in problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced global setting; willingness to travel Strong communication Stakeholder management Cross-functional collaboration Data cataloging Metadata management Data governance
