Tasks
At JOIN, collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. As the Chief of Staff, you will be an integral part of the leadership team, working closely with the CEO and department heads to shape the company’s future. You’ll join a dynamic group of professionals who are passionate about driving innovation in HR tech and making recruitment smarter, faster, and more inclusive. The leadership team fosters a culture of transparency, innovation, and teamwork, where feedback is valued, growth is encouraged, and success is a shared achievement.
Your role will position you as a key connector, ensuring our cross-functional teams work harmoniously toward strategic goals. You will influence decision-making processes, align department objectives, and help optimise operations across the board, all while contributing to a supportive and high-performing work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, structuring priorities, providing data-driven insights, and translating strategic goals into actionable plans.
- Project Leadership: Oversee company-wide commercial projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, resource allocation, and alignment with business objectives.
- Cross-Departmental Project Coordination: Facilitate collaboration across teams by organising interdepartmental meetings, aligning goals, and resolving challenges to maintain operational momentum.
- Strategy Development: Assist in formulating and executing business strategies by analysing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and monitoring progress against company goals.
- Operational Optimisation: Identify inefficiencies, implement process improvements, and drive operational excellence to enhance productivity.
Requirements
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- You bring 3 to 5 years of experience in management consulting with firms such as McKinsey, BCG, or similar, demonstrating a strong track record in strategic project management and cross-functional collaboration.
- You have a proven ability to lead and execute complex projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timely delivery.
- You possess excellent verbal and written communication abilities in both German and English, enabling you to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders.
- You exhibit strong data analysis capabilities, supporting informed and strategic decision-making processes.
- You thrive in dynamic environments and can adjust to changing priorities with ease.

- Regular presence in the office is a relevant success driver; however, you will enjoy flexibility with our hybrid work approach, where after your probationary period, you can work from anywhere or from home for up to 104 days per year.
