Head of Operations - Switzerland (80%)

Skiers rent their favourite outfit on Cirkel Supply and receive it at their hotel in the Alps. Our service is driven by quality and convenience and is set to revolutionise the skiwear market for customers, brands and the travel industry.

As Head of Operations Switzerland, you own the day-to-day running of Cirkel's Swiss business: warehouse, inventory, logistics and customer service - so that every rental order goes out and returns on time and is efficiently made ready for its next adventure. You'll manage our seasonal operations team, maintain our exceptional customer service standards across markets, and support building processes that enable Cirkel to scale without compromising quality.

This is an evolving role: today it is both hands-on and organisational: you’ll be managing a team and working alongside them. As we grow, your role will become more about managing people, systems and processes.

Tasks

• Manage daily operations of the Swiss warehouse - inbound, outbound and reverse logistics
• Oversee inventory management, quality control, and the preparation of rental and resale products
• Manage and continuously improve operational processes, with a focus on efficiency, reliability and cost per order
• Drive customer service across markets, ensuring timely, high-quality support
• Track operational KPIs and report performance, risks and issues to management
• Support peak-season planning, staffing and workload management
• Manage the Swiss seasonal operations team on a day-to-day basis, including team development and team building
• Office management and administration: ensuring the office and warehouse is organised, clean, safe and fit for peak volume
• Support with strategic operational activities
• Build on our garment cleaning & repair competencies

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in business (or related field)
• Three or more years in operations, logistics, retail or hospitality
• Demonstrable experience improving a process and being able to show the effect - fewer errors, faster turnaround, lower cost
• Comfortable owning customer-facing operations tasks
• Working proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken
• Experience with operational tools: excel, google suite, inventory or order management systems
• Swiss work authorisation, or eligibility to obtain it
• A valid driving licence
• Willing to work weekends and irregular hours during peak weeks, and to do the physical work alongside the team when volume demands it
• Based in (or willing to relocate to) Val de Bagnes

Value-added skills & experience:

• Experience in ski, sports or fashion companies
• Experience in circular / rental business models
• Familiarity with laundry and repair of technical garments
• Proficiency in German or Italian
• Experience recruiting, onboarding, managing and retaining staff
• Exposure to last-mile delivery, hotel or resort logistics, or working with third-party carriers
• Data competence - analysing trends, monitoring KPIs and using data to improve how we work
