  • Serve as the Global Force Management (GFM) strategy and policy subject-matter expert, directing the development, coordination, staffing, and implementation of command-wide force management programs, procedures, and strategic assessments.
  • Synchronize GFM emergent and rotational force requirements with the command's Integrated Priority List (IPL) and Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) inputs, ensuring force requirements correspond correctly with command plan force lists.
  • Brief General/Flag Officers (GO/FO) and O-6/GS-15 leadership on complex sourcing recommendations, explaining ordered force assignments, allocations, and presenting formal command-wide force management correspondence.
  • Represent the command's position at GFM workshops, sourcing conferences, and joint staff J3 conferences, traveling with GO/FOs to provide real-time strategic recommendations, background intelligence, and exercise planning support.
  • Perform advanced database management within joint force management tools, coordinating with JFPs and SMEs to define, refine, source, and manage force requirements in databases such as Joint Capabilities Requirements Management (JCRM).

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below.

One year of specialized experience which includes

Developing and coordinating organizational policies, programs, and procedures to align immediate and long-term personnel and resource requirements with strategic business goals;

Advising senior leadership and liaising with external stakeholders to present resource allocation recommendations, represent organizational positions at planning conferences, and resolve operational shortages;

AND 3)

Utilizing enterprise database systems to monitor staffing demands, track resource requirements, and analyze data to ensure the organization is adequately resourced.

Time in Grade Requirement

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
