Develops, establishes, and implements Combatant Command-level policies, procedures, and directives to govern the Vendor Threat Mitigation (VTM) framework within the USAFRICOM AOR.
Ensures the VTM program remains compliant with Congressional law and Do D Directives by coordinating with the Do D and Joint Staff, and represents the Command at all OSD VTM forums.

Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

Specialized Experience one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) develop and manage vendor threat mitigation policies and procedures, 2) lead cross-functional teams of intelligence, operations, and contracting personnel to identify and mitigate vendor threats, 3) analyze adversary reliance on commercial support to develop strategies that mitigate risk to the Joint Force, and 4) integrate vendor threat mitigation processes into plans, operations, and exercises.
