Nursery Teacher (m/f/x)

in full- or part-time.

In our daycare center Joki Johanneskirchen, 123 children from the age of 6 months until they start school are cared for in five nursery groups and three kindergarten groups. Our rooms extend over the ground floor as well as the first floor of an office and business complex. All group rooms and bedrooms face the garden with a view of the dense stock of trees. Our outdoor area includes around 1,000 m² of play and activity area for the children. In our Joki adventure forest, children can experience nature directly and experience the cycle of nature. In the adjoining play areas, depending on their age and level of development, they will find suggestions, play opportunities and space for discoveries. Our daycare center is only a few minutes’ drive from the Föhringer Ring, Arabellapark and Effnerstraße. The Johanneskirchen S8 stop and bus routes 50 and 154 are in the immediate vicinity.

Your profile:

• You speak English at native level (C1/C2).
• You have a qualification as nursery teacher, e.g. Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, Social Work or Psychology.
• You are interested in working bilingually with the immersion method.
• You speak German at intermediate level (B1/B2).

In our Joki daycare centers our goal is working bilingually with two German native speaking and one English native speaking nursery teacher in each group, each communicating consistently in his or her language. As role models, they convey the joy of communicating and encourage the interest in foreign cultures. We successfully put our high pedagogical standard into practice thanks to our high ratio of employees to children as well as our highly qualified professional counselling and support.
