To support our team we are looking for an Customs Expert (all genders) in Aschaffenburg .

Your Activities:

• Ensuring compliance with customs processes
• Coordination and supervision of the work of customs brokers and the internal team within the toll manufacturing concept with the performance of audits
• Representation of the principal plant in projects
• Coordination of AEO and other customs related audits
• Maintenance of customs authorizations and application for new authorizations on the basis of business requirements
• Tracking of defined key performance indicators and reporting to regional organization
• Creating work instructions

Your Profile:

• Successfully completed studies in economics, logistics or similar
• At least 5 years professional experience in international trade, customs or logistics field, ideally in an international company
• Good understanding of customs regulations, import/export laws, and international trade compliance
• Deep knowledge of customs compliance, AEO certification, and audit procedures
• Analytical skills to assess risks and implement corrective actions
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to represent the principal plant in cross-functional projects
• Effective communication and coordination skills to work with internal teams and external parties
• Business fluent English skills in written and spoken
• Willingness to travel
