Overview
As a Credit Officer, Director in Wealth Management Credit Risk, you will identify, measure, and monitor credit risk across global businesses. You will approve new and existing credit exposures within delegated authority and oversee a portfolio aligned with risk appetite, partnering with bankers, product teams, controls, and risk leadership. Based in Geneva, you will cover clients and transactions in Dubai and Switzerland, applying consistent credit standards and governance. You will structure transactions, conduct due diligence, and identify key counterparty risks while driving strategic initiatives and mentoring junior staff.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Approve new and existing credit exposures within authorized limits for the Global Private Bank client base
- Ensure credit exposure is structured, documented and approved per JPMorgan Credit Policy
- Assess risks and mitigants, manage renewals and new transactions to maintain strong credit metrics
- Monitor portfolio, coordinate with integrated team on issues, implement resolution plans, escalate problems
- Form and communicate independent views to partners and senior leadership
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance transactions
- Mentor and coach team members and participate in improvement initiatives
- Demonstrate excellent communication to solve problems and influence outcomes
- Identify and monitor concentrations, trends, and themes in the portfolio
- Drive projects to close gaps, enhance processes, and improve risk management
- Uphold standards and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Extensive experience in banking or lending with credit analysis expertise (balance sheet and cash flow) and structuring complex transactions (securities-based lending, specialty lending, mortgages, derivatives)
- Proven ability to analyze credit structures, make informed decisions, and mitigate risks
- Experience and familiarity with approving credit transactions
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication with high attention to detail
