We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex technology and transformation initiatives. The role focuses on project planning, delivery governance, stakeholder coordination, risk management and successful implementation across multiple business and technology workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from initiation through planning, execution, implementation and closure.
- Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, dependencies and delivery plans.
- Coordinate business, technology, testing, operations and external delivery teams.
- Track schedules, budgets, resources, risks, issues, actions and decisions.
- Establish project governance and provide clear status reporting.
- Prepare and facilitate project reviews, steering meetings and decision forums.
- Manage scope changes and assess their impact on timelines, costs and resources.
- Coordinate delivery across remote, cross-functional and multi-vendor teams.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions in German.
- Support implementation, production readiness and transition to operations.
Mandatory Requirements
- Strong experience in project or programme management.
- Proven delivery experience across complex IT or transformation initiatives.
- Strong project planning, governance, risk management and reporting capabilities.
- Experience coordinating multiple business and technology workstreams.
- Strong stakeholder and vendor-management skills.
- Professional German and English communication skills.
- Based in Germany and able to attend workshops in Hameln or Frankfurt.
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Banking or financial-services experience.
- Experience with large financial institutions or comparable regulated environments.
- SAP transformation or application-delivery experience.
- Migration, integration or regulatory programme experience.
- Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery experience.
- Relevant certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum or SAFe.
Working Arrangement
- The role is remote within Germany.
- Physical attendance is required for scheduled workshops in Hameln or Frankfurt.
- The candidate must be based in Germany and able to travel to either workshop location when required.
