We are urgently seeking an experienced Active Directory Consultant for a long-term contract based in Dusseldorf, Germany, for one of our globally leading tech clients. The position offers competitive pay and immediate interview opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Active Directory Management:
2. Install, configure, and maintain Active Directory, including domain infrastructure and services such as DNS and DHCP.
3. Manage user accounts, groups, and resources in Active Directory, ensuring proper permissions and access controls.
4. Troubleshooting and Support:
5. Provide expert troubleshooting for Active Directory issues related to user authentication, replication, and performance.
6. Resolve complex infrastructure problems and support incident response and problem resolution.
7. Security Management:
8. Implement and enforce security policies and compliance standards, including auditing and monitoring activities.
9. Configure and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security and user policies.
10. Integration and Configuration:
11. Support integrations with systems like Azure Active Directory and third-party applications via LDAP.
12. Oversee implementation of Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) and manage identity solutions such as ADFS.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience (typically 5+ years) with Microsoft Active Directory and related technologies.
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field; certifications like MCSE are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, and authentication protocols like Kerberos and NTLM.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, especially PowerShell, for automation and management tasks.
