Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ERP Consultant with 7 to 10 years of expertise to join our team at HCL Germany. The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team providing technical support, customer engagement, and continuous system improvements. The role requires a strong technical background in ERP systems and the ability to communicate effectively in German (C1 level).

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary escalation point for advanced technical issues within the ERP system.
• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve ERP-related incidents, including system errors and performance issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and deploy bug fixes, patches, and system updates.
• Ensure optimal system performance and provide solutions for ongoing technical challenges.
• Communicate effectively with end-users and stakeholders to understand their challenges and provide actionable solutions.
• Deliver ERP system solutions in a timely manner while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior support engineers and client staff on ERP functionalities and best practices.
• Proactively address client queries and issues, ensuring high-quality customer service.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all incidents, resolutions, and system changes to ensure traceability.
• Develop and update a knowledge base of articles and resources for recurring issues and troubleshooting tips.
• Provide periodic performance reports on support operations, system improvements, and any technical issues encountered.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience as an ERP Consultant or similar role, with deep expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strong technical background in diagnosing and resolving ERP-related technical issues.
• Proficient in German (C1 level) for effective communication with clients and end-users.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with system updates, patches, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to document technical processes, create knowledge base articles, and report on system performance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience in mentoring or training junior staff.
• Knowledge of additional ERP tools or modules is a plus.
• Experience with agile development and project management practices.
