Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced ERP Consultant with 7 to 10 years of expertise to join our team at HCL Germany. The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team providing technical support, customer engagement, and continuous system improvements. The role requires a strong technical background in ERP systems and the ability to communicate effectively in German (C1 level).
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary escalation point for advanced technical issues within the ERP system.
- Diagnose, analyze, and resolve ERP-related incidents, including system errors and performance issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and deploy bug fixes, patches, and system updates.
- Ensure optimal system performance and provide solutions for ongoing technical challenges.
- Communicate effectively with end-users and stakeholders to understand their challenges and provide actionable solutions.
- Deliver ERP system solutions in a timely manner while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior support engineers and client staff on ERP functionalities and best practices.
- Proactively address client queries and issues, ensuring high-quality customer service.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all incidents, resolutions, and system changes to ensure traceability.
- Develop and update a knowledge base of articles and resources for recurring issues and troubleshooting tips.
- Provide periodic performance reports on support operations, system improvements, and any technical issues encountered.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience as an ERP Consultant or similar role, with deep expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong technical background in diagnosing and resolving ERP-related technical issues.
- Proficient in German (C1 level) for effective communication with clients and end-users.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with system updates, patches, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to document technical processes, create knowledge base articles, and report on system performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience in mentoring or training junior staff.
- Knowledge of additional ERP tools or modules is a plus.
- Experience with agile development and project management practices.
