SAP Basis Consultant

Language Requirement: C1/C2 proficiency in German

Primary Skills:

• SAP Basis administration
• Production support for SAP environments
• Solution Manager (SolMan) configuration and management
• Data Volume Management (DVM) & Data Lifecycle Management (DLM)
• Backup and restore processes for SAP systems

Secondary Skills:

• Understanding of SAP on RISE concepts
• Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and management

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide production support for SAP systems, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• Manage and execute S/4HANA upgrades, patches, and system enhancements.
• Oversee Data Volume Management (DVM) and Data Lifecycle Management (DLM) to ensure efficient data handling and storage.
• Lead backup and restore activities, ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Work with Solution Manager (SolMan) for monitoring and managing SAP systems.
• Collaborate on Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and execution to ensure business continuity.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues related to SAP Basis systems.
• Assist with SAP on RISE adoption and implementation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize SAP solutions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in SAP Basis administration with expertise in S/4HANA, SolMan, DVM, and DLM.
• Solid experience in production support, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
• Hands-on experience in SAP backup and restore procedures.
• Familiarity with SAP on RISE concepts and DR planning/management.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills in both German (C1/C2 level) and English.
