My client, a fast growing fin tech, is looking for a Senior Treasury and Corporate Finance Analyst to report into the Head of Treasury and Corporate Finance. This is an exciting new role ideally based in Berlin, or otherwise Frankfurt or London.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the expansion of the Corporate Finance / Capital markets function
- Expand funding mix through mainly ABL facilities
- Create and expand strategic relationships, leveraging contacts to facilitate debt financing transactions with new potential debt funders, maintain relationship with the existing
- Co‑lead future origination, structuring and execution activities to finance the firm's asset portfolio
- Project manage the implementation of additional debt funding facilities, including setting up reporting, (tax) accounting functions
Profile and Experience:
- Bachelor's (and Master's) degrees in with a focus on finance or economics
- Working 5+ years of relevant experience in origination, structuring, M&A and execution of structured debt / securitisation financing transactions, preferably with prior experience in a fintech, start-up or non-bank lender, ideally with some exposure to consumer and/or equipment lease asset classes
- Strong modelling and presentation skills
- Experience in reviewing and negotiating legal documentation governing structured finance transactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- A proactive and strategic mindset, with the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities
