Financial Accountant

Responsibilities

• Participation in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS16 in close cooperation with the Financial Controller
• Monitoring and controlling receivables and payables in conjunction with invoicing, the Shared Service Centre and Sales
• Ensuring the correct posting of supplier invoices and preparing advance VAT returns and official reports (e.g. Z5 reports)
• Supporting internal and external reporting and preparing meaningful reports
• Actively participating in projects in the finance department and continuously optimising processes

Qualifications

• Completed commercial training with further training as an accountant or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in accounting (at least 2–3 years)
• Very good knowledge of HGB; IFRS knowledge an advantage
• Confident in using Excel and ERP systems (SAP experience desirable, Hyperion a plus)
