About J&T Express
J&T Express is a leading international logistics and express delivery company with a growing network in Germany and across Europe. To support our warehouse operations in Düsseldorf, we are looking for a reliable and hands‑on Shift Lead (m/f/d) who enjoys working in a team and helping organize daily warehouse activities. This is a practical role where you will work directly on the warehouse floor, support your colleagues, and help ensure that daily operations run smoothly.
Your Responsibilities
- Support the daily organization of warehouse and parcel sorting activities.
- Coordinate a small team of warehouse employees during your assigned shift.
- Distribute daily tasks and make sure the work is completed on time.
- Actively participate in warehouse activities, including sorting, scanning, loading, and unloading parcels.
- Monitor the workflow and help resolve simple operational issues.
- Make sure parcels are handled correctly and according to company procedures.
- Support new employees during their onboarding and explain daily tasks.
- Ensure that the warehouse remains clean, organized, and safe.
- Report problems, delays, or staffing issues to the supervisor.
- Communicate with colleagues and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Support shift handovers and share important information with the next team.
Your Profile
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics center, parcel sorting facility, or similar environment.
- First experience as a Team Lead, Shift Lead, or working foreman is an advantage, but not essential.
- Willingness to work actively in the warehouse and support the team with daily tasks.
- Good organizational skills and a practical, hands‑on approach.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with others.
- Ability to stay calm and organized during busy shifts.
