Join J&T Express as a Logistics Center Manager / Site Manager at our location in Nieder-Olm (near Mainz) and take overall responsibility for the site's operations and performance. You will lead the team and oversee people, facilities, equipment, safety, and operational performance while working closely with headquarters, regional functions, other logistics centers, and key stakeholders

to ensure safe, stable, and efficient operations.

Your Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the daily operations and performance of the logistics/transshipment center, ensuring safe, stable, and efficient operations
• Build and continuously develop the site's organizational and team structure in line with business growth and operational requirements
• Plan and optimize transshipment shifts, staffing, operating models, workflows, site layout, and equipment deployment based on business volume
• Manage people, facilities, equipment, and other resources efficiently to achieve operational and business objectives
• Take overall responsibility for site and operational safety, including the coordination and resolution of major safety or operational incidents
• Develop and implement appropriate contingency plans and response procedures for different operational scenarios
• Monitor and analyze relevant operational KPIs, identify root causes and performance gaps, and implement sustainable improvement measures
• Implement and continuously improve 6S standards to strengthen standardization, efficiency, safety, and the overall working environment
• Lead team development, performance management, employee development, and succession planning while building a sustainable talent pipeline for the site
• Coordinate closely with other logistics centers, headquarters, regional functions, as well as authorities, fire departments, facility partners, customers, and other external stakeholders

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 5–10 years of relevant professional experience in cross-border logistics, international supply chain, a major logistics company, or a logistics/transshipment/distribution center
• Solid experience in operational site management and leading teams within a logistics environment
• Strong understanding of logistics/transshipment center operations and experience managing people, space, facilities, equipment, and other operational resources
• Proven experience in team building, people management, performance management, and talent development
• Strong analytical and structured thinking with experience in process optimization, root-cause analysis, and sustainable problem-solving
• Strong sense of responsibility, resilience, and execution capability, with the ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
• Excellent communication and coordination skills when working with different internal and external stakeholders
• Business fluent Mandarin and English are absolute must-have requirements for this position; German proficiency is considered an advantage
• Experience with 6S management and strong safety, quality, and cost awareness is preferred
