As we continue expanding across Europe, we are looking for a motivated Cost Control Specialist (m/f/d) – Mandarin Speaking to monitor operational costs, optimize workforce efficiency, and improve performance across our sorting and transit centers.
Your Responsibilities
- Monitor key cost KPIs, including labor costs per parcel and operational efficiency
- Develop and optimize cost calculation models and reporting tools
- Analyze cost deviations, identify root causes, and implement improvements
- Optimize workforce planning, attendance standards, and staffing requirements
- Evaluate and improve external labor service provider performance
- Organize management training and develop operational guidelines and SOPs
- Train employees on internal systems and coordinate issue resolution
- Collaborate with sorting centers to ensure cost efficiency and process improvements
Your Profile
- 2–3 years of logistics experience, preferably in a supervisory role at a sorting or transit center
- Experience in logistics operations, workforce management, or cost control
- Strong analytical skills and experience with operational KPIs
- Knowledge of workforce planning, shift scheduling, and staffing requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; data analysis tools are a plus
- Experience in SOP development, employee training, or coaching is an advantage
- Fluent Mandarin Chinese and business-fluent German or English
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
