(Senior) Compliance Counsel – Compliance Management & Investigations (m/f/d)

J&T Express is a fast-growing global logistics company with a strong focus on e-commerce and last-mile delivery. With operations across Asia and rapid expansion in Europe, we are currently building our German organization and hiring key team members to support our growth.

As (Senior) Compliance Counsel – Compliance Management & Investigations (m/f/d), you will help establish and continuously improve the company’s Compliance Management System across Germany and Europe. Working closely with the Head of Legal & Compliance and key business functions, you will advise on compliance matters, support strategic initiatives and promote a strong culture of integrity within our growing international organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve the company’s Compliance Management System, including governance structures, internal controls, risk assessments, monitoring processes and compliance reporting.
• Develop and maintain key compliance policies covering areas such as anti-bribery and corruption, whistleblowing, fraud prevention and third-party compliance.
• Advise business functions on compliance matters, support strategic initiatives and monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments.
• Manage the whistleblowing system and conduct internal investigations, including interviews, evidence assessment, reporting and recommendations for corrective action.
• Conduct compliance due diligence and ongoing monitoring of business partners and Delivery Service Partners (DSPs), and support third-party audits.
• Develop and deliver compliance training, conduct compliance reviews and monitor the implementation of remediation measures.
• Collaborate with HR, Security, external advisers and authorities where required, while promoting a strong culture of integrity across the organization.

Your Profile

• Fully qualified lawyer in Germany or Europe, or a law degree combined with substantial compliance experience.
• At least three years of relevant compliance experience, including Compliance Management Systems and internal investigations.
• Strong knowledge of corporate compliance frameworks; familiarity with ISO 37301 or IDW PS 980 is an advantage.
• Experience in logistics, e-commerce, transportation or technology is a plus.
• Business-fluent German and English, with strong communication and organizational skills.
• High integrity, sound business judgment and an independent, pragmatic and solution-oriented working style in a fast-paced international environment.
