Our two-year HR Management Trainee programme is designed for graduates who want to develop quickly into HR professionals. Across four rotations you will gain a complete picture of the HR function, taking on real responsibilities and projects at every stage rather than simply observing. At the end of the programme you will move into a permanent role matched to your strengths and to the needs of the business.
This position is currently based in Kelsterbach. As part of our continued expansion, we plan to relocate our office to Nieder-Olm near Mainz around October 2026.
Your Responsibilities
- Take part in a flexible HR rotation programme, gaining hands-on experience across different HR functions and areas of responsibility.
- Rotate through key HR areas such as HR Operations, HR Business Partnering, Payroll & Benefits, Talent Acquisition/Recruiting, as well as other HR-related functions depending on business needs and your development.
- Support the respective HR teams in their day-to-day operations, projects and strategic initiatives, gradually taking on more responsibility.
- Gain practical exposure to the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to employee support, payroll-related processes and offboarding.
- Work closely with German, Chinese and international colleagues and stakeholders in a fast-growing, multicultural environment.
- Support the continuous improvement and standardisation of HR processes, policies and internal HR tools.
- Participate in short-term assignments or rotations within Germany and potentially other European countries.
- Develop a broad understanding of HR with the goal of identifying your individual strengths and future area of specialization.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Psychology, Law or a related field; ideally a recent graduate or someone at an early stage of their career.
- Initial practical experience through internships or working student positions, ideally in HR.
- Genuine interest in German labour law and HR operations, with the willingness to develop strong subject-matter expertise.
- Strong analytical skills, a structured way of working and high attention to detail.
- Strong sense of ownership, a hands-on mindset and the ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment.
- Good communication and collaboration skills across different hierarchical levels and cultural backgrounds.
- Confident user of MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Fluent Chinese and German (C1), plus good business English. Chinese is required for this programme, as you will work closely with German and Chinese colleagues on a daily basis.
- Willingness to be mobile: rotations may include short-term assignments at different locations within Germany or in another European country.
