Learn more: jti.com Chemical Analysis Lead (m/f/d) with focus on ISO 17025 accredited analytical methods In this newly established key role, you will lead one of three divisions within our Chemical Analysis and Science Department in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory. Your primary objective will be to guide and support your team in delivering high-quality, reliable analytical data that rigorously meet all regulatory testing requirements. Position You will: * Provide Leadership and Vision: lead and develop your team in alignment with JTI’s business goals, leveraging analytical capabilities and ensuring compliance with customer demands and global regulations * Ensure effective Project Management & Resource Allocation: manage relationships with internal clients to provide tailored solutions while effectively prioritizing and allocating available resources to ensure timely completion and optimal utilization * Provide Analytical Excellence and Drive Quality Management: lead the implementation of analytical methods across diverse matrices, ensuring accuracy and precision, while supporting a comprehensive quality management system through documented procedures, training programs and regular audits Within 6 months you will: * Deputize the principal assessor in all ISO 17025 matters including report creation and during audits * Represent JTI in international standards committees and foster knowledge transfer with peers globally Requirements: * Master degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or related field (bachelor degree may be considered with extensive experience) * Minimum 5 years experience in a supervisory role within an analytical laboratory (ISO 17025 accredited environment) * Proven track record with laboratory quality control principles and regulatory compliance * Excellent leadership and management competencies * Fluent in English and German * Knowledge of data evaluation software What to Expect: * Attractive, flexible, and family-friendly working conditions with state-of-the-art laboratory facilities in a top Vienna location * Company car or car allowance * Position-specific training and development opportunities to foster long-term growth together * Annual gross salary of at least EUR100.000 if above requirements are met, with the potential for overpayment based on qualifications and experience Are you ready to join us?
