The role serves as Business Owner (BO) of the Global Data Platform (GDP) and drives the strategic development of Data Products in the analytics domain. It defines the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Bank’s central cross‑domain data platform, ensuring measurable business value and trusted data for decision‑making.
The role advances analytics efficiency by promoting reusable Data Products, aligning data owners and stakeholders on design, governance, and funding—directly contributing to the long‑term blueprint for AI and analytics at scale.
GLOBAL DATA PLATFORM (GDP) – BUSINESS OWNERSHIP
Define the platform’s vision, target state, and roadmap in close collaboration with the GDP’s Business Responsible, IT leadership and Enterprise Architecture.
Align business and IT stakeholders on priorities, scope, and delivery outcomes, and oversee end‑to‑end governance, prioritisation, and funding coordination for enhancements and new capabilities delivered through the Global Data Platform (GDP) as part of the yearly planning cycle.
DATA PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Orchestrate design and rollout of enterprise‑grade Data Products that serve multiple use cases across the analytics landscape.
Enable rationalisation of redundant or overlapping reports and dashboards, promoting reusable, governed data layers instead of siloed outputs.
Establish lightweight standards and patterns for Data Product development, working in coordination with data engineers, analysts, and domain experts.
STRATEGIC ENABLEMENT & ROADMAP CONTRIBUTION
Contribute to the definition of a strategic blueprint for AI and Analytics at scale, linking practical implementation efforts with the Bank’s broader AI ambitions. In this context support platform/tool rationalisation initiatives, evaluating existing analytics landscapes and recommending modernisation paths.
Represent data and analytics perspectives in enterprise‑wide programmes and working groups, particularly those led by the COO Office or Digital Business Transformation.
STAKEHOLDER COLLABORATION & VALUE DELIVERY
Build strong relationships with business areas, technology teams, and control functions to understand evolving data needs. Embrace the user perspective to ease adoption and transition to self‑service analytics.
Translate Data & Analytics initiatives into clear business value through compelling narratives and measurable outcomes. Ensure stringent prioritisation, disciplined resource allocation and benefit verification on the basis of explicit commitments from requestors.
YOUR PROFILE EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
University degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in roles encompassing data strategy, data product management, enterprise data platforms, or digital transformation within a regulated industry.
Demonstrated experience in financial services or wealth management, with solid understanding of banking operations, client data, and relevant regulatory expectations (e.g., MiFID II, GDPR, FINMA OSR).
Proven track record in managing complex, cross‑functional initiatives without direct authority, influencing stakeholders across business and IT.
Strong familiarity with modern data technologies and ecosystems, including cloud‑based platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or similar.
Hands‑on exposure to Agile ways of working, data governance frameworks, and analytics lifecycle management.
