Let’s shape the future of wealth management together. /ppBusiness Risk Manager (BRM) plays a critical role within the 1st Line of Defence (1LoD) in supporting the Region in managing and monitoring risk across the entire client lifecycle. BRM’s key responsibilities include risk-related advice to Front Management, support risk-related approvals, facilitate stakeholder collaboration (between the three lines of defence), deliver Regional and/or Market Risk Reporting and drive risk-related initiatives across the Bank. The role requires experience in understanding regulatory requirements, business needs, and risk management principles to drive informed decision-making and mitigate potential risks. Senior BRM is expected to act as a role model in terms of risk behaviour whilst delivering value for (internal) clients and working collaboratively across the Bank. /ph3YOUR CHALLENGE /h3ulliSupports the Front Office on risk-related tasks, such as performance of risk control self-assessments, assessment and handling of operational risk incidents, ad hoc business risk and conduct reviews /liliCollaborates with 2nd and 3rd Lines of Defence, Front Management, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach to risk management and highest quality standards across the region /liliPrepares and delivers Regional and/or Market Risk Reporting in collaboration with 2nd LoD teams to provide transparency and supervisory oversight through Regional and/or Market risk sessions and address regulatory and quality assurance concerns /liliDrives risk awareness and training initiatives /liliProvides risk-related support and advice for Regional and/or Market projects /liliMonitors and supports remediation of risks, incidents, and control issues, ensuring timely and sustainable resolution of Front teams’ related gaps identified by 2LoD, internal/external audit, and regulators /liliCoordinates with other BRMs and interacts with various internal stakeholders (e.g. compliance, legal, etc.), depending on the topic /liliLeads and implements change initiatives to improve risk management processes and procedures, ensuring the team is adaptable to changing regulatory requirements and business needs /liliSupports strategic decisions that balance business objectives with risk management requirements, considering multiple perspectives and potential consequences /li /ulh3YOUR PROFILE /h3h3Personal and Social Skills /h3ulliA natural team player with a proactive mindset and the ability to relate to colleagues from diverse backgrounds /liliProven communication and interpersonal skills to deal with employees and stakeholders on different management levels /liliAlways communicates in a competent and professional manner /liliSystematic, precise and diligent working style and the ability to oversee complexity and perform under pressure /liliPersonal integrity and ethical behaviour /li /ulh3Professional and Technical Skills /h3ulliBanking apprenticeship and/or higher education /liliAt least 4 years of experience in a similar role in the Private Banking Business /liliIn-depth knowledge of risk management principles and practices across markets /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills /liliFluent language skills (verbal and written) in English, German would be an asset /liliAbility to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment /liliIndependent, efficient, proactive and meticulous working style /liliProficient user in MS Office applications, Excel and PowerPoint skills /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
