Overview In this role you drive enterprise-wide data capabilities to support Julius Baer’s data-centric transformation. You collaborate with senior business and technology stakeholders to establish trusted data for regulatory, analytics, and operational use cases. You lead the Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Lifecycle Management initiatives with the Data Management Architecture team, shaping glossaries, metadata standards, and end-to-end lineage. You foster data literacy and a data-driven culture while enabling governance controls and measurable improvements. Verantwortungsbereiche Shape enterprise-wide data capabilities and influence data management across the bank Partner with senior business and technology stakeholders on strategic transformation initiatives Enable trusted data for regulatory, operational, analytics use cases Drive enterprise Data Governance, Data Quality and Data Lifecycle Management frameworks Establish business glossaries, data dictionaries, metadata standards and end-to-end data lineage Define standards, controls and metrics to improve governance maturity and data quality Lead adoption of data management capabilities Drive data literacy, stakeholder engagement and a data-driven culture Ensure effective management of data from creation through retention, archival and disposal Zentrale Anforderungen University degree in business informatics, computer science, banking, finance or similar Experience in Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Quality and Data Lifecycle Management Experience with enterprise data catalogue platforms such as Informatica, Collibra or Microsoft Purview Experience working with data management, metadata and records management tools such as data catalogues, lineage and governance platforms Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across business and technology functions Comfortable challenging the status quo and driving change in a complex environment Self-motivated, hands-on and team-oriented with a can-do attitude Fluent in English; German is an advantage Strong stakeholder management and collaboration Change-oriented and able to challenge status quo Self-motivated and team-oriented Informatica Collibra Microsoft Purview
