Overview
In this role, you will design and deliver automation solutions to make IT processes self-service and scalable. You will champion DevOps-driven infrastructure, collaborating with product teams to align automation with business goals. You’ll lead the development of workflows and providers using vRealize Aria and Crossplane, tackling complex automation challenges. The opportunity centers on shaping scalable platforms and continuously improving automation capabilities in a fast-paced, enterprise setting.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using vRealize Automation (Aria) and/or Crossplane
- Create and maintain vRealize Orchestrator workflows; develop Crossplane providers and functions (Golang, Kubernetes Operator pattern)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical strategies
- Provide technical leadership and contribute to roadmaps and strategic plans
- Troubleshoot complex issues in vRealize Automation and Orchestration and suggest improvements
- Stay updated on cloud, virtualization, and automation trends and apply them to solutions
- Develop technical documentation (design docs, implementation guides, procedures)
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and policies
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 2+ years experience developing/operating Kubernetes Operators (Golang, Crossplane)
- 3+ years experience designing and managing automation with vRealize Automation for large-scale environments
- Expert knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native ecosystem
- Strong IT infrastructure knowledge (Windows, Linux, AD, Cisco)
- Solid understanding of cloud computing, virtualization, and automation (VMware vSphere, vCenter, NSX)
- Understanding of SW development, CI/CD, DevOps tools
- Familiarity with ITIL, agile methods, Git
- Experience with Golang and scripting (JavaScript, PowerShell, Python)
- Proven track record leading technical projects/teams with multi-stakeholder/vendor management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments, learn quickly, be proactive
- Bachelor's or higher in CS/IT or related field
