Overview
In this role you safeguard the bank’s infrastructure by managing vulnerabilities and coordinating remediation across teams. You will analyze findings from scanners, prioritize remediation using security data, and collaborate with IT and DevOps to close gaps. You help drive governance through reporting and escalation, and contribute to ongoing process improvements. This position offers impact in protecting critical systems while working across security, operations, and development groups.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Assess host vulnerabilities from Nexpose across Windows, Linux, and Azure environments; analyze findings and prioritize remediation with Splunk SIEM
- Coordinate remediation with Network Operations, Server Administration, DevOps, and Application Development teams
- Provide regular vulnerability and compliance status updates; escalate critical risks to management
- Contribute to continuous improvement of vulnerability management and security compliance processes
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools
- Solid understanding of Windows Server and Linux OS security
- Experience with virtualization technologies
- Familiarity with cloud security concepts; Azure experience a plus
- Knowledge of network security principles; Cisco experience a plus
- Experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM/GRC platforms
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and regulations
- Bachelor in Computer Science
- 3+ years in a technical security role focusing on vulnerability management and security compliance
