Job Description As a Senior Compliance Officer based in our Geneva office, you will play a key role in supporting and overseeing the compliance framework of Jupiter Wealth Advisors in Switzerland, covering both our Geneva and Zurich operations. You will collaborate closely with internal and external partners, including Relationship Managers, senior management, auditors and regulatory bodies, and serve as a strong second line of defense for the firm, with a particular focus on client onboarding, AML/KYC, ongoing monitoring and regulatory compliance. Your primary responsibilities will include: Acting as the single point of contact for all regulatory matters relating to the Swiss business and overseeing regulatory compliance. Managing and reviewing the client onboarding process, including KYC documentation, client identification, source of wealth/source of funds, beneficial ownership and risk classification. Acting as the review and approval authority for client onboarding, in accordance with Swiss regulatory requirements and internal policies. Ensuring compliance with applicable FINMA regulations, AML requirements, sanctions regimes and internal compliance standards. Performing ongoing due diligence and periodic reviews of existing client relationships. Monitoring transactions and client activity and investigating potential AML, sanctions or reputational risk concerns. Maintaining appropriate compliance documentation, records and internal controls. Monitoring regulatory developments in Switzerland and supporting the implementation of new regulatory requirements. Assisting with regulatory reporting, audits and interactions with external compliance partners, auditors and regulatory bodies. Providing compliance guidance and training to employees across the Swiss business. Profile & Requirements Approximately 10 years of relevant compliance experience within private banking, wealth management or a comparable financial institution, ideally with a background in the EAM/MFO sector. Strong hands‑on experience in client onboarding, AML/KYC, enhanced due diligence and ongoing monitoring. Solid understanding of the Swiss regulatory environment and FINMA requirements applicable to wealth managers. Experience dealing with HNW/UHNW international clients and complex ownership structures. Knowledge and experience of Emerging Markets, with particular exposure to the Middle East and Africa considered highly valuable. Fluency in both English and French is essential.
