The Team We are a cross-functional distributed team that follows the SCRUM framework.

All the team roles (backend, mobile, design, QA…) work together very closely.

Before acting on the tickets we discuss aspects and feasibility of brand new features and/or intended changes during the dedicated SCRUM ceremonies.

In the backend, we believe in good communication and transparency.

We have alignment meetings every week to discuss the current and future work as well as ideas for tech initiatives.

We do pair programming and knowledge sharing sessions and we make decisions as a team.

Expected Skills We expect the following skills for a senior backend developer:- Java/Kotlin technologies (both is a plus)- Spring/Quarkus framework (both is a plus)- No SQL and SQL databases- Kafka (and/or messaging/streaming brokers in general)- CI/CD pipelines-Good knowledge in Git- Test automation- Logging and monitoring production services Nice to Have Although not being a hard requirement would be great if you have some experience on:- Event Driven architecture- Domain Driven Design (DDD)- CQRS- 12 factor app- Cloud-native technologies - AWS or other cloud providers- Kubernetes (as a developer)At JET, this is on the menu: Our teams forge connections internally and work with some of the best-known brands on the planet, giving us truly international impact in a dynamic environment.
