Junior Designer (UI Design and Data Visualisation)

JustWatch () is the world’s largest streaming guide for movies, TV shows & sports. We are in the process of building up the JustWatch apps as a profit center and are looking for hands-on and motivated talent to harvest big sustainable revenue streams.

We believe in giving advertisements a native feel in our apps while maximizing revenue and maintaining a good user experience. To achieve this, we move fast, test advertising and partnership opportunities to identify big revenue levers and scale them up with excellence.

We only want people who are willing to constantly learn through challenging themselves and others, and who just love getting things done. We believe in the 80/20 rule and try to apply common sense and pragmatism to everything.

What you will be doing

• Designing A/B tests to find out which UI is the most intuitive for our users
• Crafting simple user experiences and landing pages that the biggest websites worldwide will write about
• Updating and expanding our marketing assets when launching JustWatch in more countries or being prominently featured in AppStores
• Building and designing infographics showing industry insights for digital PR campaigns

What we need from you

• First experience and strong interest in UI, infographic design, and data visualization
• Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools like Sketch, InVision, Figma, or comparable (Google Sheets and other data visualization tools are a plus)
• First experience in Photoshop or similar tools
• You are intrinsically motivated and have big ambitions to become great at what you do (you have your own hobby project like a website, app, etc.)
• Good communication skills
• Excellent English language skills
• A high affinity to series, movies, and design
