Our growing retail network includes the popular YumiHana and YumiHana Beauty stores, offering a wide selection of authentic Korean and Japanese products. /p pWe are looking for a dedicated and versatile professional to join and lead our bBuying Category Management team /b, starting bimmediately or by agreement /b. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop and implement buying and category strategies /li liManage the product range in coordination with senior management responsible for Sales Marketing /li liIdentify, select and evaluate international suppliers, with a focus on Korea and Japan /li liNegotiate prices, delivery terms and framework agreements /li liEnsure product quality, reliable supply and compliance with import, food and cosmetics regulations /li liBuild and maintain long-term supplier relationships /li liAttend international trade fairs and industry events /li liDrive organisational and team development /li liLead and manage a team of six employees /li liCoordinate with Logistics, Sales, Marketing, and Quality Data Management /li liDetermine buying requirements, manage orders and coordinate import processesMonitor delivery schedules and manage supplier claims /li liAnalyse purchasing KPIs and report to senior management /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liCompleted commercial vocational training or a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Business or a related field /li liAt least three years of experience in international buying and category management, ideally involving imports from East Asia /li liExperience managing a team of at least three to five employees /li liExcellent written and spoken English /li liGerman, Korean and/or Japanese are an advantage but not essential /li liKnowledge of the food and cosmetics sectors is an advantage /li liExperience with personal care products, household goods or merchandise is an advantage /li liStrong negotiation skills and knowledge of contract law and import procedures /li /ul h3Personal Competencies /h3 ul liCross-cultural awareness and a diplomatic approach /li liExcellent communication and negotiation skills /li liAbility to see the bigger picture, combined with a structured and strategic approach to work /li liResilience, flexibility and sound decision-making skills /li liA collaborative mindset and strong leadership skills characterised by empathy, clarity and fairness /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liEmployee discounts on our product range partner companies. /li liHome Office options supporting hybrid work. /li liAdditional vacation days. /li liFlexible working hours. /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
