I'm looking to hire for an early-stage aviation startup building the next generation of heavy-lift drones. The product is still being defined. Requirements, partners, and the first real aircraft are being shaped now. Finance at this stage is not just reporting, it’s building the foundations, keeping the company investment-ready, and giving leadership the clarity to make bold decisions.
The role
You’ll own finance end to end:
- Accounting, controlling, forecasting, and long-term planning
- Building the financial architecture from early-stage agility through to scale-up discipline
- Compliance, transparency, and precision in a complex environment
- Cash-flow strategy, investment readiness, and capital efficiency
- Acting as a strategic partner to leadership, turning data into decisions
Title can flex to Lead of Finance or Head of Finance depending on your experience and how you want to position the role.
What they're looking for
- Proven experience in finance, accounting, or controlling, ideally deep-tech or robotics company background
- A builder’s mindset: structured, fast, resourceful
- Comfortable switching between strategy and hands-on execution
- Strong communicator who can turn numbers into a clear story for internal teams and external stakeholders
- Fluency in German and English
- Genuine interest in solving real-world logistics and aviation challenges
