Your tasks
- Further development of an autonomous robot control for mobile machines.
- Optimization of path or trajectory planning algorithms in agricultural as well as mechanical engineering terms.
- Algorithmic combination of various sensor data for precise localization of the machine in the field.
- Evaluation and fusion of sensor data for environment recognition and perception.
- Design and implementation of efficient database systems for the storage and analysis of large amounts of data (Big Data Analytics).
- Collaboration on current research topics in the areas of path planning, image processing and localization.
- Application of current research results in future-oriented control systems.
- Testing of the developed software in simulation and practice.
What you bring with you
- Completed studies in (technical) computer science or a comparable field of study.
- Knowledge of the programming languages C/C++, as well as Python.
- Confident in the use of the Linux operating system.
- Experience in versioning with Git.
- First experience in agricultural machinery construction desirable.
- Confident communication in German and English.
