Job Description
Review supplier documentation, perform quality review and track document progress. Reviewprojecttime scheduleand Client contract.
Support construction and commissioning, select pipe material and weight estimate(e.g.BoQpreparation).
Create new pipe classes,maintainexisting and select pipe material based on process requirements.Contribute tocreate,maintainand improve standard documentation (e.g.Work Instructions).
Prepare technical specifications for Pipe Material, PipeSupports andprovidesupport for Piping Detail Engineering, prepare piping strength calculation and pipe support details and criteria.
Manage suppliers throughout the project, including reviewing all supplier documentation.
Qualifications
Very goodproduct and system knowledge, i.e.expertisein piping materials, codes and standards (ASME / EN), prefabrication, cleaning, erection, quality assurance (workshop and erection) including pressure testprocedures.
7+ years of experience in piping design of heavy industrial plants, powerplantsor Oil and Gas plant.
Knowledge of 3D design tools and CAE tools (e.g. COMOS)and 3D viewers (e.g. Navisworks).
Fluencyin English(German would be of advantage).
Proficient problem-solving,communicationand coordination capabilities.
