The Internal Medicine Clinic of the Kanta-Häme wellbeing services county has an open permanent position for a Specialist Physician in Nephrology.

Nephrology operations in Kanta-Häme are concentrated at the Kanta-Häme Central Hospital in Hämeenlinna, which has an outpatient clinic as well as a dialysis and inpatient ward. In addition to the central hospital's operations, we have a dialysis unit in Forssa and outpatient activities approximately once a month. The area of work covers the entire wellbeing services county. Part-time work is possible, and some tasks can be performed remotely. The patient information system used in the Kanta-Häme wellbeing services county is Lifecare.

We are looking for a collaborative and positive physician to join our team of two nephrology specialists, internal medicine specialists, and physicians in specialization, with a desire to develop high-quality care for kidney diseases in the Kanta-Häme Wellbeing Services County.

Eligibility requirements for the position: a degree or right to practice as a specialist physician in nephrology. A degree as a specialist physician in internal medicine and experience in the training of physicians in specialization are considered an advantage.

Remuneration is determined according to the current Physician's Agreement, the career stage table, and the approved guidelines for physician salary bases. Terms are determined according to HYVTES. A six-month probationary period applies. The position requires vaccination protection as required by Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a report on respiratory tuberculosis according to Section 55. The selected person must present an acceptable certificate of health within the specified time after receiving the selection decision.
