Your Tasks

  • Design, simulation, and optimization of advanced microwave and millimeter-wave resonators for high-field electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy.
  • Development of topologically optimized multi-resonance EPR detectors capable of simultaneous measurements on multiple samples with minimal crosstalk.
  • Electromagnetic modeling and numerical optimization using COMSOL Multiphysics, CST Studio Suite, and related simulation tools.
  • Fabrication and experimental characterization of microwave and millimeter-wave resonators operating from X-band frequencies up to 263 GHz.
  • Development of novel interferometric microwave circuits for suppression of excitation-signal background and enhancement of EPR detection sensitivity.
  • Integration of optoelectronic signal-generation and signal-readout modules with EPR resonators to realize compact fiber-coupled high-field EPR systems.
  • Development and implementation of multi-sample and multi-resonance EPR detection platforms for operation at magnetic fields up to 9.4 T.
  • Design and integration of radiofrequency (RF) coils for electron-nuclear double resonance (ENDOR) and dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP) experiments.
  • Experimental validation of the developed hardware through EPR, ENDOR, and DNP measurements on model paramagnetic samples.
  • Publishing research results in leading international journals and presenting findings at international conferences.

Your Profile

  • A completed university degree (Master's level) in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Physics, Microsystems Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of RF, microwave, or millimeter-wave engineering.
  • Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as COMSOL, CST, HFSS, ADS, or equivalent software.
  • Experience in micro fabrication and micro manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of magnetic resonance techniques (EPR, NMR, MRI), microwave photonics, or microwave integrated circuits is advantageous.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
