Quick info Location Villach Entry level 5+ years Job ID HRC0688386 Start as soon as possible Type Full time Contract Permanent Job description * Work with high voltage chip products (SiC, IGBT) used in automotive traction inverter applications * Be part of product development projects for power electronic transistors: Define the right-fit product and technology requirements matching to application trends and customer needs * Work closely with cross-functional team s to identify and prioritize product features, understand trade-offs and key limitations ensuring that new products meet the evolving demands of the automotive industry * Contribute to technical design-in activities at major automotive customers with our high voltage SiC and IGBT chip products * Closely collaborate with our regional field application engineering teams Profile You have a clear notion of how innovation contributes to the commercial success of the company, you constantly gain new insights by questioning existing assumptions, and you inspire others for your ideas explaining even complex issues in a clear and convincing manner. Furthermore, you accept responsibility for decisions and for their positive or negative outcomes. If you remain aware of the big picture even in complex situations and take decisions despite uncertain circumstances, then you should join our team! You are best equipped for those tasks if you have: * A degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, physics or a related fiel d, a PhD is a Plus * At least 3- 5 years of professional experience in power electronics (automotive, industrial, consumer) in the semiconductor industry, at a research institute or as a hardware designer for power systems (e.g. in Application Engineering, System Engineering, Technical Marketing) * Experience in setting up and running tests for power components * Experience in technical leadership is a Plus * Know-How in power technologies such as SiC MOSFETs and IGBTs * Know-how in the creation of technical articles, presentations containing complex technical content * Practical experience in working as a project member in a matrix organization * Very good communication and presentation skills in English, German as a Plus We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification.
