Responsibilities

• Under limited supervision, perform limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Tasks may be segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility.
• Participate in inventory audits and research discrepancies. May assist with Document Control functions.
• Ensure supplies are properly identified, handled, stored and shipped. May act as chief inspector and conduct limited inspector training to personnel.
• Have a good working knowledge of governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, hand trucks, or other equipment to transport supplies as needed. Perform similar activities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Requires 4 years of related experience, preferably in a military operation.
• Some positions may require HazMat certification for storage, handling, distributing, and shipping such materials. Minimum requirements specified by client/contract will prevail, if different.
