This position reports directly to the Area Managing Director Central Europe and is a member of the Central Europe Leadership Team (CELT).

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee Marketing Strategy and Brand Activation in a 14-country cluster of Central Europe, including Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Ukraine, Baltics, and Iceland.
  2. Define portfolio strategy and resource allocation of personnel and Brand Marketing Expense (BME) across the entire Kenvue portfolio, representing nearly $1B USD in annual revenue, and make adjustments during the year to meet key KPIs (NTS, GP, IBT, Market Share).
  3. Manage the development of a direct reporting team of approximately 60 Marketing Employees across 6 Marketing Squads, based in Neuss, Germany, ensuring consistency in execution across Brand Activation Teams in CE markets.
  4. Foster collaboration across functions to ensure cross-functional squad plans are agreed upon, supported, and implemented through the Customer organization and wider Kenvue organization.
  5. Ensure a strong external focus and relentless pursuit of excellence in execution.
  6. Balance short-term and long-term business results to maximize overall organizational performance.

  8. Create a consumer- and customer-obsessed culture across the marketing department and in partnership with cross-functional colleagues.
  9. Build a high-performing team where members are inspired, challenged, and motivated.
  10. Coach and develop all direct reports to support their personal and professional growth.

What we are looking for

  1. University degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  2. At least 15 years of extensive professional experience in operational and strategic marketing within the FMCG sector, ideally with experience in both Mass CPG and Pharmacy Over-the-Counter Drugs categories.
  3. Holistic understanding of the business, including managing significant complexity and understanding full P&L impacts.
  4. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in developing a high-performing culture and talent pipeline.
  5. Strong analytical, diagnostic, and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to work across functions, partner, and influence to deliver key outcomes.
  6. Strong financial and operational understanding.
  7. Excellent communication skills, with analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proven experience leading through influence, impact, and conflict resolution.
  8. Experience in developing new products and communication channels, including TV, print, and digital media.
  9. Ability to handle organizational complexity, e.g., in a matrix organization.
  10. Ensure local team delivers against S&OP requirements to improve MAPE, BIAS, and customer OTIF.
  11. Experience in both local and global marketing organizations internationally is preferred.
  12. Experience managing sales teams in pharmacy, grocery channels, or e-commerce is a plus.
  13. Fluent in English; knowledge of additional local languages is advantageous.
