Role Reports To: VP MAKE EMEA
Location: Europe/Middle East/Africa, Switzerland, Zug, Rotkreuz
Work Location: Fully Onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Have a collaborative responsibility for overall performance of the EMEA External manufacturing sites.
- Ensure that standards and excellence initiatives routed through the MAKE teams are executed in the External Network for the region.
- Accountability for Resilience Program and identifying and activating multiple sources of supply, across geographies with access to incremental manufacturing capacity to be able to respond to dynamic demand fluctuations.
- Contribute to CIP Funnel enhancement in EM through operational excellence projects at EM and actively drive implementation of Type II projects at EM.
- Responsible for overall External Manufacturing Responsibility for EM’s including being the single point of accountability for achievement of External manufacturers service, lead time and inventory targets.
- Drive sustainability in EM’s by developing and implementing initiatives in line with Kenvue Healthy Lives Mission.
- Set EM site strategy in alignment with network strategy and define operational plan to execute it balancing the EM and IM components.
- Translate business/commercial strategy into clear and compelling goals to engage others around the vision.
- Define operational plan to execute the network strategy for EM foot print.
- Influence across the matrix and collaborate with other functional leaders (e.g. RD, MST, Quality, Engineering, Materials, Finance, IT, HR, Planning) and Supply Chain leaders to ensure alignment between functional leaders for designing EM goals and priorities.
- Contribute to strategic/value stream projects as they are tied to the business—ensure goals are tied to commercial priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement through KOE and functional expertise with maximizing the strategic goals/broader network priorities.
- Balance the tactical day-to-day execution with EM’s vis a vis the strategic focus to prepare the EM sites to respond to future internal needs and external trends (customer and market needs).
- Deliver service goals for EM, managing BCP and delivery.
- Provide leadership for all external operations business processes with accountability to manage and sustainably improve those processes and outcomes for EHS, quality compliance, cost, reliability, and talent (technical and leadership capabilities, diversity).
- Improve E2E Product Supply performance across EM’s balancing productivity, responsiveness, and agility through an integrated approach across functions.
- Build talent pipeline and capability for the future leaders of the organization with an integrated lens of EM and IM talent.
- Responsible for deploying the manufacturing strategies with an E2E customer focus across the EM network of the region.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for External manufacturers for the regional Supply Chain and the business.
