Our client, an international automotive company with a strong presence in the Swiss market, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager / Senior Accountant to join its finance team.
This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional with solid expertise in Swiss accounting who is looking to broaden their responsibilities across finance, business partnering, and process improvement.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial compliance while helping to build scalable finance processes and support the company's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities Manage the full accounting cycle and ensure compliance with Swiss statutory and tax regulations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and oversee month-end and year-end closings.
Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and local authorities.
Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
Partner with business stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and implement efficient finance structures and best practices.
Contribute to finance transformation initiatives and ERP optimization.
Your Profile Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in accounting and finance.
Strong knowledge of Swiss accounting, tax, and statutory reporting.
Experience within the automotive industry is essential.
Proven ability to improve processes, establish structure, and implement effective financial controls.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong Excel skills.
Fluent German and English are a key requirement.
