As (Senior) BI Analyst (f/m/d) at our headquarters in Berlin, you will play an important role to bring the BI team to the next level. You will build and own BI products – from initial problem understanding to process integration. In this role, you will work with a diverse set of stakeholders from multiple departments and will have a major impact in how the company handles data and makes decisions.

Your responsibility

• Drive Data-Driven Decisions: Create, visualise, and deliver actionable insights and reports that serve as the foundation for critical business decisions.

• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with stakeholders across all levels and departments to support and consult on cross-functional projects.

• Ensure Data Excellence: Work closely with data producers and engineers to evaluate new data sources and maintain data quality, availability, and reliability.

• Empower Self-Service BI: Enable business functions to leverage BI self-service tools, empowering them to make informed, fact-based decisions.

• Provide Expert Support: Act as the go-to expert for SQL and data-related queries beyond the scope of BI self-service tools.

• Optimize Processes: Challenge and continuously improve existing BI processes to ensure efficiency and scalability.

Your skills

• Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience solving business problems using data.

• Analytical Expertise: Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Storytelling Ability: Effectively communicate insights by transforming data into compelling narratives.

• Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of SQL, data warehousing concepts, and various BI solutions.

• Communication: Excellent ability to explain complex BI topics clearly and secure buy-in from diverse stakeholders.

• Team Spirit: A respectful, collaborative team player.

• Language Skills: Proficiency in English (German is a strong plus).

Bonus Skills

• Experience in BI product and project management.

• Familiarity with ecommerce or logistics environments.

• Working knowledge of Tableau, DBT, and Snowflake.

• Previous participation in strategic cross-functional projects, with an understanding of their challenges and rewards.
