at the Kia Connect GmbH in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
Job mission:
As Senior Manager Connected Car Services and Data Business, you are responsible for driving the commercial success and continuous development of Kia Connect’s connected services and data-driven business.
You lead annual business planning and execution, ensuring strong alignment between product development, market needs, and commercial performance. You act as the central owner in translating strategy into executable initiatives and measurable business results, with a strong focus on scaling adoption and monetisation of paid connected services and data services across European markets.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Connectivity and Data Business strategy
Define and steer the commercial roadmap for data and connectivity services aligned with product and platform roadmaps
Translate business requirements into clear and prioritised inputs for product, engineering, and data teams
Ensure alignment between product features, customer value, and key business KPIs (e.g. activation, adoption, revenue)
Act as business owner for selected services, ensuring lifecycle performance and optimisation
2. Business Model & Monetisation
Identify and develop new revenue opportunities based on connected services and vehicle data (e.g. subscription services, digital features, APIs)
Lead development of business cases, pricing models, and commercial concepts
Drive commercialisation initiatives in collaboration with product teams
Support scaling of services across markets
3. Market Strategy & Customer Value
Analyse market trends, competition, and customer needs to shape portfolio positioning
Define and refine value propositions for B2C and B2B services (e.g. fleet, data-driven services)
Ensure systematic integration of customer insights into service improvements
4. Performance Management & Business Steering
Own and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as activation rate, adoption, revenue, retention, and customer satisfaction
Support establishment and utilisation of performance dashboards and reporting frameworks
Analyse performance gaps and drive improvement actions across markets and functions
Contribute to target setting and forecasting aligned with Kia Connect Europe business plans
5. Cross-functional Leadership
Participate to cross-functional work programs and collaborate closely with product, CRM, data, Legal, and Finance teams
Ensure effective execution of initiatives across development and go-to-market phases
Influence stakeholders across Kia Europe, markets, and headquarters
6. Partnership & Ecosystem Development
Identify and develop strategic partnerships supporting connectivity and data business growth
Lead commercial negotiations and agreement structures
Your talents:
Education:
University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
Experience:
8-10 years of experience in the field of business development of connected services, digital business and/or data business
Proven experience in business case development, performance management, and commercial steering
Experience working closely with product and cross-functional teams
Track record in contributing to revenue growth or business performance improvements
Proven team leadership experience, including managing and developing teams, setting priorities, and delivering results through others
Strongly preferred: experience in a company involved in the data business value chain (e.g. OEM, mobility company, data consumers, data aggregators)
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking
Good understanding of connected car services, digital business models, and data monetisation
Ability to translate business requirements into product-relevant inputs
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
Structured and results-oriented execution
Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are advantageous.
Personality traits:

Detail-oriented with high accuracy in execution.
