Manager Controlling (all genders welcome)Join the movement and find new inspiration.We have an exciting opportunity as Manager Controlling (all genders welcome) at the Kia Connect GmbH in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.Job mission:The Manager Controlling is responsible for establishing, operating and continuously developing Kia Connect’s controlling framework across its European digital services and connected mobility business.The role ensures financial transparency, performance steering and decision support for management by providing structured planning, forecasting, and reporting across B2B, B2C and e-mobility services. The position acts as a key business partner to Finance, Digital Product, Sales and Operations, translating financial data into clear insights to support sustainable growth and profitability of Kia Connect.Your Responsibilities:Controlling Set-up & FrameworkBuild and further develop a scalable controlling framework for Kia Connect’s digital services and connected mobility portfolioEstablish and maintain KPI systems, budgeting structures and forecasting methodologies across all business linesDesign and operate a consistent management reporting landscape for senior management and key stakeholdersPlanning, Forecasting & AnalysisOwn monthly, quarterly and annual controlling cycles, including budget vs. actual analyses, variance explanations and rolling forecastsSupport the financial steering of connected and e-mobility services, including volume development, margin analysis and billing qualityPrepare decision-relevant analyses for management, including scenario analyses and financial outlooksBusiness Partnering & Decision SupportAct as a close business partner to Finance, Product, Sales and Operations teams across Kia ConnectSupport business cases, pricing models, profitability analyses and investment decisionsTranslate complex financial data into clear, structured recommendations for managementProcesses, Tools & Data QualityIdentify optimisation potential within existing controlling and reporting processesPragmatically further develop controlling tools and reports within the constraints of the existing IT and system landscape (e.g. SAP, BI tools)Ensure consistency, transparency and high data quality across all controlling and reporting topicsYour talents:Education:University degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics or a comparable fieldExperience:5+ years of professional experience in Controlling or Finance, preferably in a digital services, platform or technology-driven environmentProven experience in setting up or scaling controlling structures, KPIs and reporting frameworksSolid understanding of transaction-based business models (e.g. subscriptions, usage-based billing, digital services)Experience in connected mobility, telematics or e-mobility environments is an advantageSkills & Knowledge & Competencies:Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis, reporting and planningSolid hands-on experience with SAP (e.g. FI/CO) in a controlling or finance environmentBusiness-fluent English for daily collaboration in an international contextGerman language understanding (C1) required for internal coordination and local finance topicsWho are we?Kia Connect was founded in 2019 as a fully owned subsidiary of Kia Europe and is therefore part of the fifth-largest automotive group in the world.Kia is a global mobility brand with a vision to create sustainable mobility solutions for consumers, communities, and societies around the world.
