Key Responsibilities
1. Own Financial Performance
- Own ENIXEN's annual budget, rolling forecasts, financial planning and management reporting.
- Build reliable financial models across entities, regions and business lines.
- Analyse actuals vs. budget and forecast, identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
- Build scenarios and financial simulations to support strategic decisions.
2. Drive Financial Discipline
- Challenge costs, budgets and spending decisions across the Group.
- Ensure significant spending has a clear business rationale, expected value or ROI.
- Identify inefficiencies, unnecessary costs and opportunities to optimize spending.
- Ensure costs are correctly allocated and aligned with business priorities.
- Challenge existing ways of working where they are financially inefficient.
3. Own Accounting & Financial Control
- Own the Accounting function and act as the senior escalation point for finance and accounting matters.
- Ensure accurate, timely and compliant accounting and financial reporting across all Group entities.
- Ensure strong financial controls, month-end close and reporting processes.
- Ensure operational finance and statutory accounting remain properly aligned.
4. Partner with Revenue & Commercial Excellence
- Work closely with Revenue, Commercial Excellence and Business Development to understand and challenge business performance.
- Build reliable pipeline and revenue forecasting.
- Analyse revenue, margins, profitability and commercial performance.
- Provide financial input on pricing, margins, go-to-market investments and resource allocation.
- Ensure regions and commercial teams understand and are accountable for their financial performance.
5. Drive ROI & Resource Efficiency
- Evaluate the ROI of major investments, projects, marketing initiatives and operational decisions.
- Challenge whether teams, resources and investments are appropriately sized and generating sufficient value.
- Support decisions on major investments, acquisitions and strategic initiatives through rigorous financial analysis.
6. Support the Board & Leadership Team
- Act as the key financial escalation point for C-Level and Board discussions.
- Provide clear, decision-ready financial analysis, risks, scenarios and recommendations.
- Ensure leadership has the right financial information to make informed decisions, not simply reports on what has already happened.
- Challenge assumptions and bring the financial perspective into major business decisions.
7. Build Finance for Scale
- Establish the financial processes, systems, controls, KPIs and reporting required for ENIXEN's next stage of growth.
- Strengthen financial visibility across entities and regions.
- Build a scalable financial roadmap aligned with ENIXEN's growth, acquisitions and international expansion.

What the First Weeks Look Like
This role is being created at a critical stage in ENIXEN's growth. The business has grown significantly, but the financial function now needs to catch up with that growth.
Your first priority will be to establish a clear financial baseline and identify where we can operate more intelligently.
- Audit the current cost base: Understand what we spend, where we spend it, why we spend it and who owns it.
- Identify financial blind spots: Surface untracked, misallocated, inefficient or unnecessary costs and quantify their impact.
- Map revenue and profitability: Build a clear understanding of revenue streams, margins, profitability and the drivers behind performance across entities and regions.
- Assess resource efficiency: Challenge whether current teams, investments and resources are appropriately sized and generating sufficient business value.
- Establish forecasting discipline: Build reliable budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and scenario-planning foundations.
- Strengthen reporting: Establish the financial KPIs, dashboards and reporting needed for leadership and Board decision-making.
- Create the financial roadmap: Define the priorities, controls, systems and processes required to build a strong finance function for ENIXEN's next stage of growth.
Requirements
Must Have
- 10+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Management Control or a related field, with demonstrated progression into leadership.
- Strong experience overseeing Accounting and financial reporting.
- Strong financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis capabilities.
- Experience working closely with C-Level and Board stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of commercial finance, profitability, margins, ROI and resource allocation.
- Experience with M&A, financial due diligence or strategic investment analysis is a strong plus.
- Experience with ERP, BI and financial reporting tools.
- Experience operating across multiple entities, regions or international environments.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Rigorous, analytical, proactive and commercially minded.
- Comfortable challenging senior stakeholders and bringing clarity to complex financial topics.
- Able to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-growing environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience in technology, SaaS or high-growth environments.
- Experience building or transforming a finance function.
- International finance experience.
- Experience supporting acquisitions and post-acquisition integration.
