We are currently looking for a Back-End Developer (m/f/d) Smart Building :

Responsibilities/Tasks

• Design and implement end-to-end features of our data and application platform.
• Develop RESTful and GraphQL microservices utilizing protocols such as HTTP, WebSockets, or MQTT.
• Implement scalable and reliable backend services, primarily deployed on Kubernetes, using open-source technologies and state-of-the-art libraries.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to evolve platform design, ensuring consistency, reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Manage the entire lifecycle of backend services, including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and operational maintenance.

Your Profile

• Extensive experience in backend development within microservice architectures.
• Proficiency in at least two programming languages and their ecosystems, such as C# .NET, JVM-based languages (Java, Scala, Kotlin), Node.js, or Python.
• Experience with cloud computing and more than 3 years in implementing and managing data and stream processing services.
• Deep understanding of design and coding principles, with confidence in test-driven and domain-driven development.
• Experience leveraging service-oriented patterns for data streaming, processing, analysis, persistence, and security challenges.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and agile development.
• Open-minded team player with excellent communication skills in English or German (optional).
