IT Security Engineer – Cisco/Palo Alto

• What You’ll Be Doing
• Collaborate on complex IT security projects and support client environments focused on security.
• Work with the latest technological trends and participate in creating solution concepts.
• Evaluate threat situations, analyze and optimize existing environments.
• Provide consulting, design, deployment, and management of SD‑WAN, CASB, firewalls, web security, email security, load balancers, remote access solutions, IAM, endpoint security, and other network and security technologies.
• Configure and handle service requests, minimizing network and security incidents through monitoring and countermeasures.

Requirements

• 3‑5 years of experience in IT security, networking, heterogeneous IT infrastructures, operating systems, and web technologies.
• Expertise and ideally certifications from the following vendors: Cisco, Cisco Firepower, F5 Networks, Check Point, Palo Alto, Microsoft, Gemalto/Thales.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication, organizational, and teamwork skills, with an interest in working within an international team.
• A strong desire for continuous learning and improvement.
• Fluent in German with very good proficiency in English.
