ph3Your responsibilities /h3 ul liProgramme leadership platform: overall responsibility for the Cellular Therapies platform and leadership of the SCT Division, in close collaboration with the relevant clinical disciplines, including Hematology, Oncology, Immunology and Metabolic Medicine, to further develop autologous/allogeneic SCT and cellular therapies (CAR-T, gene and other advanced cell therapies). /li liJACIE programme leadership: direction of the JACIE-/EBMT-accredited centre across all domains (CIC 334, Clinics, Collection, Processing, IES) under QM guidelines. GMP laboratory in cooperation with the GMP laboratory management. /li liStrategy networking: securing the national centre function and international integration (EBMT, SIOPE, IBFM, ITCC, ESID, NCCR Children Cancer). /li liCollaboration: cooperation, including interdisciplinary processes, with Hematology, Oncology, lmmunology, Rheumatology, Neurology and Metabolism, as well as with referring centres, registries, specialist organisations and authorities (Federal Office of Public Health, Swissmedic). /li liResearch: laboratory space at the Children's Research Centre is available for a research group. Excellent re-search environment. /li liInnovation translation: joint clinical JACIE lead for GMP lab. Introduction of new procedures, e.g. graft processing, immunomodulation, ex-vivo/ in-vivo cell engineering, alternative conditioning regimens and cellular therapies for malignant and non-malignant indications (immunotherapies, gene therapies). Clinical trials IITs: participation in international clinical trials (EBMT, JACIE, etc.) and development of own investigator-initiated trials (IITs). /li liLeadership Talent: fostering an interdisciplinary and interprofessional team of physicians (FTE 5.6), scientists (FTE 5.2) and nursing staff (FTE 15). Support of early-career researchers. /li /ul h3Your profile /h3 ul liSpecialist title: Pediatrics (FMH or equivalent) with a focus in pediatric Hematology/Oncology and/or clinical immunology; recognition of the title in Switzerland. /li liClinical expertise experience: high motivation for the comprehensive care of patients and families. Broad experience in indication, delivery and follow-up of all forms of SCT and CT in malignant and non-malignant disease; including collection (bone-marrow harvest, apheresis). Long-standing clinical experience in managing the complications of SCT. Experience with Immunotherapies (scientific or clinical leadership with advanced cellular therapies. /li liQuality systems: sound experience with JACIE, GCP and GMP guidelines. /li liLeadership team competence: a collaborative leadership style; combining strategic programme development with daily clinical practice. Experience and qualification in clinical management. /li liResearch: strong track record in translational or clinical research with third-party funding and independent research group. /li liLanguages: good German (or a commitment to acquire it within two years) and fluent scientific English; French/Italian an advantage. /li liService: participation in the SCT on-call service of the Department. /li /ul pbProf. Dr. med.
