KINDERZENTRUM PELZERHAKEN is an independent and economically stable organization that operates a social pediatric specialist clinic, a social pediatric center, and a training institute. As the only social pediatric specialist clinic in northern Germany, it provides multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary care with 38 planned beds, treating over 500 patients annually on an inpatient basis. The center aims to diagnose and treat manifest and impending disabilities and developmental disorders early, while strengthening family resources to ensure children's participation in social life.
