The company specializes in the production of high-performance lithium-ion battery systems, specifically 48- and 80-volt systems for electric forklifts and warehouse technology devices from its parent companies, STILL and Linde Material Handling. In 2022, KION Battery Systems expanded its operations with a second production line dedicated to 24-volt batteries.
