System Integration Managers play a vital role in the success of our projects and are the all-important “Voice of Engineering” that ensures the solutions we deliver meet specifications with the customer’s requirements at the forefront.
The SIM’s role is to ensure design integrity across the project and provide proactive technical risk management, ensuring that the integrated solution meets requirements for functionality and throughput as defined in the contract and measured by acceptance testing, starting in the Sales phase and concluding at hand-over to Customer Service.
We are looking to strengthen our EMEA Systems Integration team. This remotely based position will spend most of the time on various customer sites around the country, driving user and solutions acceptance testing to increase the right-first-time acceptance of our technology in automated materials handling solutions.

Tasks and Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the \“voice of Engineering\“ to optimize automation solutions pre-sale, reviewing and providing input on solution and acceptance testing language.
- Support the Simulation team with technical advice, review, and approval of simulation outputs, anticipating impacts of deviations, and informing customers of their responsibilities affecting system performance.
- Generate System Specifications for customer approval and understanding.
- Define and lead integration strategies throughout all project phases.
- Ensure alignment of System Specifications, Software Functional Specifications, acceptance test plans, and deliverables with contractual requirements and interfaces.
- Lead site-wide system testing in collaboration with the Test Manager, including documentation of test strategies, plans, and results.
- Produce system availability weightings and oversee calculation of FEM availability methods.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Industrial Plant, Mechatronics, or Mathematics.
- At least 4 years of experience in development or technical management, preferably in high-level automated logistics.
- Previous experience as a Software Engineer in warehouse management systems is beneficial but not required.
- Over 4 years’ engineering experience in the material handling industry preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication skills, and ability to create technical documentation.
- Customer-facing skills and ability to interact effectively with clients.
- Collaborative team player, capable of working with regional teams.
- Availability to travel domestically 50-60% of the time.
- Full driver’s license to support travel requirements.
