Overview
As Team Lead GenAI Platform, you own the KION GenAI Platform and its roadmap, guiding a global AI team. You will ensure scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud-native operations while delivering GenAI use cases end-to-end. You’ll drive DevOps/LLMOps/AgentOps improvements and mentor engineers, partnering with stakeholders to implement enterprise AI solutions. This role offers scope to shape AI governance and enterprise AI initiatives at scale in a sustainability-focused group.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Own the KION GenAI Platform and its strategic roadmap, including budget planning
- Ensure scalable, secure, and cost-efficient service operation using cloud-native services
- Lead delivery of GenAI use cases from requirements through to operation
- Ensure reliable platform operations, monitor performance, and maintain SLA compliance
- Drive continuous improvement of development, deployment and monitoring processes (DevOps / LLMOps / AgentOps)
- Ensure secure operation of GenAI services (access control, logging, monitoring, incident management)
- Implement and support global KION AI use cases in collaboration with business stakeholders
- Lead, coach and support the professional development of the global team of AI Engineers and platform experts
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Master’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering
- 7+ years in AI, Data Science, ML, or AI-related projects in a large enterprise
- Profound understanding of AI technologies (ML models, LLMs, vector databases, RAG methods, modern frameworks)
- Experience in IT governance, product management, or AI-related application ownership
- Strong understanding of AI/GenAI lifecycle, enterprise software processes, and governance best practices
- Knowledge about AI project management, delivery, or evaluative processes and agile/DevOps practices
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration
- Structured, independent, and analytical work style; high willingness to learn
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to challenges
- Experience in managing and mentoring technical teams
- Very good knowledge of English; German is a plus
